• Messages and business communications our customers connect to NorthStar (for example email, LINE or WhatsApp), which we process on their behalf to organise their work.
• Account information for people who use NorthStar, such as name, email address and language preference.
• Basic technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep our services secure and working.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain and improve our services.
• To respond to enquiries and communicate with customers and suppliers.
• To meet our legal, accounting and security obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Messaging platforms

When a business connects a messaging account (such as WhatsApp) to NorthStar, we receive and store messages for that business so its team can read, reply to and act on them. We use this data only to provide the service to that business.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
